GUESS is a well-known high-end lifestyle brand. The brand was founded in 1981 and started from jeans.
Today, GUESS has sales outlets in more than 70 countries around the world, with more than 100 specialty stores and more than 1,000 sales counters.  Its designs are fashionable and avant-garde, and its advertising designs are full of surprises and amazing.
Since from 2016, JHC established cooperation relationship with GUESS for MEN'S AND WOMEN's Bags and Accessories. 2018, Mr Massimo Furlan who was the director of GUESS Europe met us in the meeting. He told GUESS has lines for women and men, but they did not have category for travelling kits. He hoped us to develop the travel kits for them. They can not only sell to the stores, counters, but also their outlets which more and more visitors looking for travel kits. “You are the most comprehensive factory in our list. We trust your quality, but it must be cheap enough, then it can be sold all over the world. Not only Europe, we will pass your product to LA office and HK office ”
After Taken this project, JHC began to source and design the items. From our experience, it is not difficult to develop the product. The most important things is how to control the cost.
1.Construction of the items, it decide the cost workmanship
2.Material selected and supplier chain support
3.Packaging, how the save the cost of packing and the transportation cost. As we know flat pack will restrict the construction of the items and material selected. But we need to give the nice looking when the consumer to open the packaging.
JHC has a huge amount reliable suppliers in China, from nylon, polyester, leather, PU to zip, webbing, metals and packaging. With the requirement and target, suppliers present a lot of choice to JHC and GUESS team to select. R&D team start to work together and spent 2 weeks to present the samples to GUESS for approval. GUESS like them a lot.
In order to control the cost, JHC kept the complicated model in the Guangzhou Facility, and the simple models was making in Hunan branch factory for the lower labor cost .After QC team have the Preproduction Sample meeting, 5 key remembers of QC member went and stayed in Hunan factory. From well management and good Quality Control, JHC deliver the quality guaranteed goods to GUESS on time.
