Piquadro is an Italian luggage and bag brand founded in 1987. In its early days, the brand was mainly engaged in OEM for other Italian leather goods brands. It wasn't until 1998 that it established an independent brand and started to produce leather goods.
With its solid and precise production technology, as well as a novel design style that combines fashion trends, innovative technology, and ergonomics, Piquadro has achieved remarkable sales results in Europe within just 20 years. It has become a highly sought-after new favorite in the high-quality goods market.
From 2019, Covid-19 had spread rapidly. People yearn for nature more and enjoy a natural and healthy lifestyle. Outdoor products began to more and more popular. Piquadro began to increase the proportion of outdoor products from their original categories. Hiking, Cycling backpacks was the main direction of development. As Piquadro used to develop business series, they were lacked of experience for outdoor backpacks. JHC has more than 15 years experience for all kinds of backpacks for different function and usage scenario. We started to make the 1st round of development very quickly.
Piqaudro had their own supplier system of material and accessories. The difficulty of precise development was the timing. The material and accessories came from more than 20 different suppliers which origin Korean, Taiwan, Vietnam, China. Only the sample material ordered and delivered to us cost more than 3 weeks. JHC tried the mock sample and technique when the material was on the way. After got the correct material and accessories, our R&D team began to test the material feature and technique application. Only 3 days, we were able to organize the precise sampling. We markup all the points which found during sampling like the material easy folds, accessories direction and specification discrepancies.
