Because capacity of the Italian factories is very limited, they can not produce big quantity in short time. They are wondering of a way how to make it more efficient.

2.As this Marcella tote must be fully stuff and well packed, one 40GP container can only load 2600pcs. The transportation cost is high.
3.One of the main market of Gianni Chiarini is Europe.
JHC can make 90% of the semi production in China and 10% of the production in Italy. Not only can solve the problem of efficiency in Italy and even cheaper, but also decrease the cost of transportation.
When the semi production arrived to Italian factory, they can finish very quickly. And the transportation saved 90%. It helped Gianni Chiarini grow faster and faster.
